平素より日本ディスクゴルフ協会（JPDGA）の活動にご理解・ご協力を賜り、誠にありがとうございます。
2027年に福井県坂井市にて開催を予定しておりました「JAPAN OPEN DISC GOLF 2027」につきまして、諸般の事情を踏まえ協議を重ねた結果、2028年に延期をし開催することを決定いたしました。
選手・関係者・地域の皆様には、開催方針の変更に伴い、ご理解とご協力をお願いする形となりますこと、何卒ご容赦いただけますと幸いです。
開催時期・大会形式等を改めて調整の上、詳細が決定次第お知らせいたします。
なお、本決定に伴い、2027年福井県坂井市開催予定の「JAPAN OPEN DISC GOLF 2027」への出場選考につきましては、開催時期の変更および予定参加人数等の見直しに伴い、従来の選考条件をそのまま適用することが困難となるため、誠に恐縮ではございますが、現行の選考方針は取り下げとさせていただきます。
大会詳細が決定次第、出場選考を実施する場合は改めてご案内いたします。
また、本発表に伴い、「JAPAN OPEN DISC GOLF 2027」選考対象大会として位置づけられていた北海道オープンおよび日本オープンについて、選考を目的としてエントリー済み・またはエントリー予定であった方がキャンセルを希望される場合は、エントリー費（手数料を含む）の返金対応を行います。
選考の中止に伴うキャンセルであることを、大会主催者へご連絡ください。返金方法などを各大会の事務局を通じてご連絡させていただきます。
引き続き、ディスクゴルフの発展と、本大会がより価値ある大会となるよう関係者一同全力で取り組んでまいりますので、今後とも温かいご支援とご協力を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。
[IMPORTANT] Announcement: JAPAN OPEN DISC GOLF 2027 Postponement
Thank you for your continued support of the Japan Disc Golf Association (JPDGA).
After careful consideration and discussions regarding various factors, we have decided to postpone JAPAN OPEN DISC GOLF 2027, which had been scheduled to take place in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture, and instead aim to hold the event in 2028.
We understand this change may affect players, partners, and members of the local community, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support.
The event schedule, format, and additional details will be reviewed and announced once finalized.
As a result of this decision, the previously announced qualification process for JAPAN OPEN DISC GOLF 2027 will be withdrawn, as the revised timeline and expected participation structure require reconsideration of the original selection criteria.
If qualification or selection procedures are implemented for the postponed event, details will be announced at a later date.
In addition, players who entered or planned to enter the Hokkaido Open or Japan Open solely for qualification purposes may request a refund of their entry fee (including applicable processing fees).
Please contact the respective tournament organizer and indicate that your cancellation is due to the qualification process being discontinued. Refund details will be provided by each event office.
JPDGA remains committed to the growth of disc golf and to delivering an even more valuable JAPAN OPEN in the future.
